Cyclist taken to trauma centre after collision
A 60-year-old cyclist suffered serious head injuries when he was struck by a vehicle on Monday night.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the collision at Finch Avenue East and Morningside Avenue at 7:14 p.m., a Toronto EMS spokesperson said.
The cyclist was taken to a local trauma centre suffering from serious head injuries.
Both the cyclist and the driver were heading eastbound on Finch at the time of the collision, according to police.
Toronto police say the driver involved in the collision, a 55-year-old man, remained at the scene and is co-operating.
Police are still investigating.
