Cyclist struck, in life-threatening condition
A cyclist was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after he was struck by a vehicle on Kennedy Road just north of Eglinton Avenue early Wednesday.
Police say the man, who is about 35 to 40 years old, was found barely breathing and was bleeding from his nose.
The collision happened just before 6 a.m. Wednesday and the driver who struck the cyclist remained at the scene.
The intersection was closed while police conducted their investigation.
