There’s a new type of electric go-kart on the market, which allows operators to drift into turns.
It’s called the Crazy Cart and it was invented by Ali Kermani.
"Really this product is not about speed, like a normal go-kart," Kermani told CBC News in an interview. "It’s about drifting, it’s about spinning, it’s about connecting tricks."
The Crazy Cart has been named as one of the hot toys of the season by Toys "R" Us.
Kermani said the Crazy Cart provides thrills for drivers, but at lower speeds and with more control.
The go-kart’s top speed is about 12 mph, or 19 km/h.
Right now, the product is aimed at pre-teens. An adult version is expected to be out next year.
