Toronto police have released security camera images they hope will help solve the killing of two young men in Chinatown last month.

Quinn Taylor, 29, and David Michael Eminess, 26, were killed when shots were fired outside New Ho King restaurant on Spadina Avenue near Nassau at 3:15 a.m. on Jan. 31.

Police released still images this morning of people who were in the area immediately after the shooting. Police did not describe any of the people who appear in the images as suspects, but people of interest in their investigation.

Det. Sgt. Mike Carbone said the street and restaurants in along the west side of Spadina Avenue were busy at the time of the shooting.

"[Someone] may have some information that may assist in moving this investigation forward," he said.

While many of the images are grainy, Carbone said a person in one of the images appears to be wearing a distinctive fur, or faux fur, coat and may be recognizable

Police say Eminess and Taylor were shot after a confrontation with someone on the street. Eminess died at the scene, Taylor died later in hospital.

Police do not suspect the shooting was gang-related.

Three others were injured in the shooting.

Both victims had young daughters.
