This weekend, instead of scrolling through Instagram for your daily dose of canine cuteness, you can head to the International Centre to do some real-life doggie doting at the Canadian Pet Expo.

Here are a few of the prominent pooches that will be awaiting your "Awws."

This 12-year-old golden retriever born without eyes had it pretty rough during his early days at a puppy mill, but after being rescued by his owner Joanne George, this pup from Stouffville has become a therapy dog and now brings smiles to people's faces around the world.

The Bow Wow Times named this female Italian Greyhound living in Toronto the "World's most fashionable pooch." This fashionista is tall, thin and has legs for days…four of them. She looks a bit like a kangaroo. That's why her name's Joey.
