This weekend, instead of scrolling through Instagram for your daily dose of canine cuteness, you can head to the International Centre to do some real-life doggie doting at the Canadian Pet Expo.
Here are a few of the prominent pooches that will be awaiting your "Awws."
Smiley the Blind Therapy Dog
This 12-year-old golden retriever born without eyes had it pretty rough during his early days at a puppy mill, but after being rescued by his owner Joanne George, this pup from Stouffville has become a therapy dog and now brings smiles to people's faces around the world.
Tibby the Corgi
This little heartbreaker probably has more Instagram followers than you. She claims to be part lion with a pinch of bunny, but she's really just a cute corgi from Toronto with a fetching sense of style.
Remix the Dog
Beards are in, and this pupster is totally on trend. The handsome miniature schnauzer from Toronto has been featured in Elle, Glamour and Harper's Bazaar. Paws off ladies!
The Bow Wow Times named this female Italian Greyhound living in Toronto the "World's most fashionable pooch." This fashionista is tall, thin and has legs for days…four of them. She looks a bit like a kangaroo. That's why her name's Joey.
Hero the Super Collie
This border collie from North Bay, Ont., has mad skills. He's a certified stunt dog that knows more than 200 tricks. His ability to blow bubbles even landed him an appearance on David Letterman. He loves hanging out and performing with his bestie Marvel the Super Collie.
The Canadian Pet Expo is open Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the International Centre, 6900 Airport Rd. in Mississauga.
