Subway riders on the western end of the Bloor Danforth line in Toronto continued to cope Sunday with the closure of eight stations between Keele and Kipling.

Part of the busy east-west route, which includes a link to the airport, was closed for the weekend for maintenance.

The closure was needed in order to complete work on a cross-over line of track at Jane Station. The TTC continued to have shuttle buses running between Kipling and Keele.

The buses are stopping at all the stations currently closed. Full service should be back to normal just in time for the Monday morning commute.
