A man in his late 30s has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence after what police describe as a "bizarre" rollover near Dupont Street and Lansdowne Avenue.
Officers say the driver was northbound on Lansdowne at about 2 a.m. when he struck a parked vehicle south of Dupont.
The four-door SUV was moving relatively slowly, but according to one officer at 11 Division it struck the other vehicle at such a "bizarre angle" that it rolled — and was left both seriously damaged and upside down.
The driver was not injured. The other vehicle took minor damage.
The intersection was closed for the investigation but has since reopened.
