Bike stolen, boy pepper-sprayed in alleged robbery
A 14-year-old boy had his bike taken in an alleged robbery in Mississauga today, an incident in which police say the victim was also hit with pepper spray.
Peel Regional Police say the robbery occurred late Sunday afternoon on Camilla Road, near Hurontario Street and the QEW.
Police say the boy was jumped by four other teenagers.
The suspects fled the scene, along with the green, BMX-style bicycle. They were last seen heading toward Cherry Post Drive.
Police say the victim was not seriously injured by the pepper spray.
