A man is recovering in hospital after an overnight shooting in Scarborough.
Police from 41 Division were called to the area of Crockford Boulevard and Bertrand Avenue — near Eglinton and Warden avenues — by reports of a man in the street, yelling that he'd been shot.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was found and taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
There was no immediate word on a suspect. Police are investigating.
It's been a bloody weekend in that part of Scarborough. The shooting follows two stabbings that brought officers from 41 Division to area bars early on Saturday.
