A head-on collision overnight sent two people to hospital and left one of them with an impaired driving charge.

Toronto police say the incident occurred just before 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of Albion Road and Elmhurst Drive.

One female was arrested for impaired driving and sent to hospital with minor injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle was also sent to hospital with non-serious injuries.
