Addison Hall mourned in London, Ont., vigil
Girl hit by car in Costco parking lot
Residents of London, Ont., gathered in a city park Wednesday to remember a six-year-old girl killed in a vehicle accident last week.
Addison Hall died when she, her three-year-old sister and pregnant mother, were hit by a reversing car at the entrance to a Costco outlet.
During the service in Greenway Park, some children stood atop a small hill and released 100 pink and purple balloons as Amazing Grace played.
Former London mayor Anne Marie DeCicco-Best, a long-time friend of the girl`s grandparents, said Addison brought great joy to her family and friends.
She described the girl as kind, smart, funny, and a little feisty with a free spirit who was always thinking about others.
Addison`s mother, Danah McKinnon-Bozek needed an emergency C-section after the crash and the newborn baby girl remains in critical condition. McKinnon-Bozek and her three-year-old daughter Miah are in fair condition.
