Driver charged after Brampton crash sends 5 to hospital
20-year-old from Georgetown, Ont., charged with dangerous driving, OPP says
A young Georgetown man has been charged with dangerous driving after an early-morning crash in Brampton sent five people to hospital.
Ontario Provincial Police have arrested and charged the 20-year-old driver.
Peel paramedics say the man's car went off the road on Highway 407 west of Airport Road shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday.
Three men, two of whom were ejected from the vehicle by the force of the crash, were rushed to a trauma centre with serious to life-threatening injuries.
Another man and a woman were also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say all the victims are all in their 20s.
It's not known whether the driver was among those injured in the crash.
