Three Toronto teens face charges after they allegedly wore disguises, brandished a knife and chased a man and two women in an Ajax subdivision over the Easter weekend.

Durham Regional Police say that a man and two women were walking along Rossland Road West, near Riverside Drive on Saturday afternoon.

Police say the trio saw three male suspects gathered near the roadway.

It is alleged that the suspects had their faces covered, one of whom, police say, wore “a green monster mask.” One of the suspects had a knife.

The man and two women ran. Police say the suspects pursued them, until the pedestrians made it to a nearby home.

Police soon arrested the three suspects. Disguises and a knife were recovered.

The three suspects are male — ages 15, 16 and 17 — and each face charges of assault with a weapon, disguise with intent and possession of weapons dangerous. They cannot be identified because of their ages.
