3 dead after boat capsizes in northwestern Ontario
Boat in Kenora district was carrying 8 people
Two men have died, bringing the death count to three, after a boat carrying eight people capsized in northerwestern Ontario.
Police have recovered the bodies of 30-year-old William Chisel and 19-year-old Simon Chisel, both of Frenchman's Head.
The boat was carrying eight people from Lac Seul First Nation when the incident occurred Thursday afternoon on Lost Lake in Kenora district during difficult conditions and bad weather.
Six people on board managed to get to shore, but that one of them — 39-year-old Kevin Brisket — died in hospital after
suffering critical injuries, according to the OPP.
Police are investigating.
