2 shot on King Street East, then take themselves to hospital

Police say two people were shot on King Street East this morning and managed to take themselves to hospital.

Police say two people were shot on King Street East this morning and managed to take themselves to hospital.

The shooting happened at around 3 a.m., near King and Victoria Streets. One female victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg. Police said injuries to both victims are minor.

Officers had closed King between Yonge and Church Streets for the investigation, but King Street re-opened just before 6:30 a.m.

There is no word yet on any suspects.
