15-year-old charged in Queen Street stabbing
A 15-year-old youth has been arrested and charged after a man was stabbed Friday night near Broadview Avenue and Queen Street East.
Police say the assault happened at about 8:30 p.m. near the intersection of Queen and Carroll streets when a 20-year-old man was attacked with a knife and suffered multiple stab wounds.
Police arrested the 15-year-old about half an hour later and charged him with aggravated assault, along with a number of other charges.
Police say the two did not know each other.
The identity of the suspect cannot be released because of his age.
