1 injured in Oakwood Avenue fire

One person suffered smoke inhalation and burns to the leg in a fire that broke out this afternoon on Oakwood Avenue, a few blocks south of St. Clair Avenue West.

One person suffered smoke inhalation and burns to the leg in a fire that broke out this afternoon on Oakwood Avenue, a few blocks south of St. Clair Avenue West.

Firefighters were called to the scene at about 4:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The fire was put out relatively quickly.

A Toronto Fire spokesperson could not immediately confirm whether the injured person was transported to hospital via ambulance.

Two dogs made it out of the fire without injury.
