Thunder Bay police say a 52-year-old man remains in critical condition in hospital after a Canada Day assault in the south downtown core.
Police were called to the corner of May and Donald Streets around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
They say three males — one thin and two heavier set — and a female, of average height, had already fled the scene, after allegedly robbing the victim.
Detectives are hoping to hear from a bystander they say dragged the victim off the street and onto the sidewalk.
Police said several vehicles passed by the scene of the crime, and they are also asking those drivers to contact them.
