2 men charged with aggravated assault in Thunder Bay in Carrie St. incident
Police were called Wednesday morning, found 2 men injured
Police in Thunder Bay, Ont., say the two men involved in a reported altercation at a Carrie Street home on the city's north side have been charged with aggravated assault.
Officers were called Wednesday, just after 11 a.m., to the home near the intersection of Carrie and Martha Streets.
Police said they found one man with injuries described as "significant;" another man was also hurt. On Thursday, police categorized his injuries as non-life-threatening.
Police also said the two men — a 23-year-old from Ottawa and a 27-year-old from Thunder Bay — were charged with aggravated assault after receiving medical treatment.
They had their first court appearances Thursday morning, police said, and will be back in court Friday.
