Thunder Bay police have arrested a local man on child pornography charges.

Terrance Richard Roe, 42, is charged with possession, making available, and accessing child porn.

Police report that in October, detectives started monitoring a peer-to-peer file-sharing network used to trade child pornography. This led to a warrant for the search of a South Cumberland Street apartment, where police seized a computer.

Roe has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
