Thunder Bay police say a man wanted in connection with an alleged domestic incident has been arrested in Saskatchewan.
Police say the RCMP arrested the Thunder Bay man in Moosomin, Sask., a town which is located about 230 kilometres east of Regina, on Saturday on warrants from city police.
Thunder Bay police say the man will be returned to the city, and will face charges.
The alleged abuse involved parents of students at C.D. Howe Public School and Kakabeka Falls Public School, according to police.
As a result of the arrest, the Lakehead District School Board has lifted its hold and secure orders at those schools, which officials said were imposed as a "precautionary measure."
Last week, entrances were locked at the schools, and police were on hand at the start and end of the day.
Children were kept indoors for recess as well.
