Taylor Gardiner, 24, dies in Hwy 17 crash with transport

A Dryden man died Thursday morning in a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway between a westbound car and an eastbound transport truck.

A Dryden man died Thursday morning in a collision on the Trans-Canada Highway between a westbound car and an eastbound transport truck.

OPP report 24-year-old Taylor Gardiner was fatally injured in the crash that happened on Highway 17 just east of Dryden, near Aaron Provincial Park, around 7:30 a.m.

Gardiner was the only occupant of his vehicle.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.

The investigation continues.
