Students on Lakehead University's board of governors will once again be allowed to vote on tuition matters.
A university spokesperson said the board agreed to change its bylaws at a meeting on Friday. The move reverses a bylaw change made last year.
In April 2012, then-chair Colin Bruce said it would be a conflict of interest for student members of the Board of Governors to vote on tuition rates.
At the time, Lakehead University's student union said it would challenge the decision in court, and accused the board of silencing its three student governors.
