Host of party-gone-wild charged with mischief

The man who invited friends to a party that became out of control in rural Thunder Bay last month has been charged.
City police report a 20-year-old man now faces a charge of mischief after his house party on Hacquoil Road ended up being a gathering of about 1,000 young people.
The party on Aug. 31 led to police being called to deal with noise complaints, congested roadways, open liquor and underage drinking.
It took more than 20 police officers to clear the crowd and 200 cars.
