Sioux Lookout OPP report the deceased is 15-year-old Regina Kakekaspan. (Fort Frances Times)Students and staff at the high school in Sioux Lookout are trying to cope with the sudden death of 15-year-old Regina Kakekaspan, who was a student at the school last year. She was found dead by two passers-by Monday in a wooded area in the town, behind the New Life Assembly Church. The girl had attended Queen Elizabeth High School with her two siblings. Principal Steve Poling said the school is offering support to students as they cope with her death. "We have some students in the school who are upset," Poling said. "So there's counsellors and people available for students to talk to. We have a comfortable space set aside in the guidance area for those students who are affected." The circumstances of the girl's death are still under investigation by the OPP's North West Crime Unit. Police are asking anyone with information about the case to come forward. A post mortem exam was scheduled for Tuesday in Kenora.
