Robbery suspect charged with 2nd degree murder

Thunder Bay police have laid a second-degree murder charge against a 29-year-old city man.
Jeffery Charles Tomagatick appeared in court Friday in connection with the death of 50-year-old Murray Junior Keesic of Thunder Bay, who died this morning from injuries he suffered in a robbery Thursday.
Tomagatick is also charged with robbery and breach of probation. The incident happened Thursday afternoon in the 200 block of North Syndicate Avenue.
Police arrested Tomagatick a short distance away from the crime scene.
