A 23-year-old Thunder Bay man faces charges after police found images of child pornography on computers and storage devices seized from a Hodder Avenue residence.

Roger Constantin has already made an initial court appearance after being arrested on charges of possession of child pornography and making available child pornography. He has been released and is expected to return to court on April 22.

The Thunder Bay Police Service began its investigation into the matter on Feb. 17, when the service’s Computer Crime Unit “began a peer-to-peer file sharing investigation involving child pornography,” it stated in a release on Monday.

A search warrant was executed at a residence located in the 600 block of Hodder Avenue on March 24. Once at the residence, officers seized two computers, flash drives and SD cards.

Constantin was arrested the following day.
