Police say Blucher-Picton area death deemed accidental

Thunder Bay Police have wrapped up their investigation in the discovery of a body on Monday night.

Thunder Bay police have concluded their investigation into the death of a man who was found injured in a north-side neighbourhood on Monday night.

In a news release today, police said his death has been deemed accidental.

The 52-year-old, whose name has not been released, was found by a passerby near the Blucher Avenue and Walkover Street intersection. He had suffered what police described as serious injuries, and was later pronounced dead in hospital.

Police are not releasing any additional information the incident, saying the matter is now between the family and the coroner.
