The Ontario Sex Offender Registry requires anyone convicted of a sex-related crime to register with police in the jurisdiction where they're living. It is accessible only to police.

On Monday, CBC News reported parts of northwestern Ontario have the highest per capital rates of sexual offenders in Ontario.

New information shows that rate is climbing.

That's an increase of 37 offenders in the past 6 years.
