Rail rehabilitation closing south-side Thunder Bay, Ont., street

A section of Mountdale Avenue on Thunder Bay's south side will close Tuesday morning to allow for rehabilitation work on the CP rail crossing.

A section of Mountdale Avenue will be closed this week due to rehabilitation of the rail crossing.

A section of Mountdale Avenue on Thunder Bay's south side will close Tuesday morning to allow for rehabilitation work on the CP rail crossing.

In a media release, the city said the closure will stretch from Gore Street to the laneway accessing Stanley Avenue.

The closure is expected to last until Friday, Sept. 29.
