Missing Thunder Bay man found unconscious on trail
After an extensive ground search, Thunder Bay police have located a missing man.
Fifty-five-year-old Neil Soloway left for work at Lakehead University shortly before noon Tuesday, and was missing overnight.
Around 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, officers with the Emergency Task Unit found him unconscious, near a trail in the east end.
"They came upon him … unconscious … in some debris," Thunder Bay police spokesperson Chris Adams said.
"They were able to provide some first aid to him right at the scene, which … seemed to help start to revive him. He was then transported by ambulance to hospital."
Superior-North Emergency Medical Services said Soloway was suffering from serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said they are continuing their investigation.
