Missing swimmer's body pulled from Rainy River
Police say 27-year-old was one of two men who went swimming near the Emo public docks
The body of a missing swimmer in the Rainy River in Emo has been found.
Police said the body of 27-year-old Odane Orville White from Toronto was recovered late Tuesday afternoon by the OPP's Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.
On Sunday evening, two men attempted to swim out into the Rainy River and return to the Emo Public Docks — a distance of about 60 metres, police reported.
One of the men returned, but the second man went under the water and didn't surface.
Police said a post mortem examination will be scheduled.
