A Thunder Bay man has pleaded guilty to a charge of child luring.

A Thunder Bay man has pleaded guilty to a charge of child luring.

Matthew William Lovering, 27, was charged last month after someone posted an ad on Kijiiji, looking for male models ages 6 to 13.

Police alleged Lovering posted the ad, indicating he was a photographer.

Undercover police officers arranged a meeting with him, then arrested him.

Lovering will return to court in May for sentencing.

The crown attorney's office in Thunder Bay says the child-luring offence carries a mandatory minimum of one year in jail.
