Man in critical condition after motorcycle accident

One man is in critical condition at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre after a motorcycle accident on the Harbour Expressway early Friday morning.

A man is in critical condition at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre after a motorcycle accident on the Harbour Expressway early Friday morning.

Thunder Bay Police said at about 12:45 a.m. a motorcycle struck the center median on the Harbour Expressway, just west of Fort William Road. The man was thrown from his bike.

Police said the motorcycle was being driven westbound in the eastbound lanes of the expressway at the time.

The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The investigation is continuing.
