Man charged after serious rollover accident

Police have charged a 22-year-old Thunder Bay man with multiple charges in relation to Wednesday night's rollover accident off Arundel Street.

A 22-year-old Thunder Bay man faces multiple charges after driving off the road and rolling his vehicle Wednesday night.

Firefighters had to use the jaws of life to remove the man from the wreckage, in a wooded area off Arundel Street, near Lyon Boulevard at around 5 p.m..

The man was taken to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life threatening injuries, according to a report issued by Thunder Bay Police Services.

He faces charges of impaired driving, driving with a blood alcohol level in excess of 80 mg, and dangerous driving. 

Police released him with a promise to appear in court in March.
