Lloyd Oskineegish identified as Thunder Bay murder victim

Thunder Bay police say a man from Wunnumin Lake First Nation is the city's fifth homicide victim this year. They have also charged a fourth suspect in the case.

The body of the 44-year-old man was found Friday night in the intercity area.

Thunder Bay police have identified the victim of the city's latest homicide.

He was 44-year-old Lloyd Oskineegish, originally from Wunnumin Lake First Nation.

Oskineegish's burned body was found last Friday near a wooded area in intercity. 

Police have also arrested a fourth suspect on a charge of second-degree murder. He is 38 year old Kevin Wabason.

Wabason has been remanded in custody to August lst

The other accused also remain in custody on charges of second-degree murder.
