Thunder Bay-born Haley Irwin sat out Team Canada's second game in the Sochi 2014 women's hockey tournament, as Canada defeated Finland 3-0.
Irwin, 25, has not competed or practised since arriving in Sochi, due to an upper-body injury.
The Canadian women managed to hold off the Finnish team despite a scoreless first two periods. You can read the full story of Canada's win on the CBC Olympics page.
