Thunder Bay police have charged a 23-year-old man from Weagamow Lake with aggravated assault, after a stabbing on the city's south side.
Police attended an address in the 400-block of George Street at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday, and found a 33-year-old Thunder Bay man suffering from stab wounds.
In a statement released Sunday afternoon, police Staff Sgt. Ryan Gibson said the man was taken to the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre with non-life-threatening injuries.
"The accused was located a short distance away and taken into custody without incident," said Gibson in the release.
The 23-year-old has been remanded and is due to appear in court on Monday.
