Thunder Bay firefighters saved a house from fire in the East End on Thursday night.
Just before 11 p.m., a report came into the Thunder Bay Fire Service about some furniture that was on fire at 504 Pacific Ave.
The first crews arrived to find the fire had spread to a nearby house, burning the siding on an exterior wall.
Firefighters took managed to put the fire out before it spread inside the home. However, some heat and smoke damage affected the interior of the residence.
The fire became a bit of a spectacle, as many bystanders lined the East End bridge to watch the blaze below.
Thunder Bay's fire service said there were no injuries and the fire is considered suspicious.
