Funeral services for a young woman and two children killed in a house fire in Wunnumin Lake First Nation were planned for Thursday afternoon.

Six-year-old Kaylene "Banny" Nothing, one-year-old  Rebecca "Blaze" Sainnawap and their 21-year-old aunt Roxanne Nothing, were killed on May 8th when their house burned to the ground.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

A news release from the First Nation outlines the family connections among all of the deceased. It says the entire community continues to mourn their loss.

Wunnumin Lake is a remote, fly-in First Nation, about 500 km north of Thunder Bay.
