Don Miller, former camp counsellor, faces sex-offence charges
Thunder Bay Police have charged a former counsellor at the Round Lake Bible Camp with sex-related offences.
Donald Neil Miller, 57, faces three charges of sexual interference with a child under the age of 14. Police say the alleged incidents took place between 1992 and 1996.
Police add Miller was convicted of sexual interference in 2003, in relation to an incident that happened in 1999 at the same camp.
Miller has been released from custody, pending a court appearance later this week.
Christy Arnold, a spokesperson for the Round Lake Bible Camp, declined to comment on this story when contacted by CBC News.
Another former camp counsellor, Jeff Paxton, also faces numerous sex-related charges from incidents taking place more than 20 years ago. Those charges are currently in Superior Court in Thunder Bay.
Round Lake Bible Camp is located in Hardwick Township, near Nolalu.
