Provincial police in Kenora are calling in their underwater search and recovery unit to help locate Delaine Copenace.

The 16-year-old was last seen in downtown Kenora on Feb. 27.

Police say they've expanded their search to areas surrounding the town.

Several other groups — including the Centre for Child Protection and many community volunteers — are continuing their search.

Copenace was last seen wearing black jeans and a black sweater. She has long black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with any information is asked to call police.
