Constance Lake death leads to murder charges

One man is dead and another is in custody after an altercation in Constance Lake First Nation on the weekend.

One man is dead and another is in custody after an altercation in Constance Lake First Nation on the weekend.

Nishnawbe-Aski Police were called to a home in the early morning hours on Saturday. A 35-year-old man, Fabian Bunting, was found with no vital signs.

The Ontario Provincial Police were called in to assist with the investigation.

A 28-year-old man was then charged with second degree murder. He is expected to appear in court in Cochrane on Monday.

A post mortem examination is scheduled for Tuesday.
