Support worker accused of assaulting 93-year-old North Bay woman

Police say officers responded to a complaint on Monday that a PSW used unnecessary force on the woman.

Man set to appear in court in January.

A Personal Support Worker in North Bay is accused of assault on a 93 year old woman at a retirement home. 

North Bay police say officers responded to a complaint on Monday that a PSW used unnecessary force on the woman, leaving her with minor injuries. 

Police say he then punched the pillow beside her head. 

The man is charged with assault. 

He's set to appear in court in January.
