Sudbury police investigate fatal stabbing

Sudbury Police say they are treating a fatal stabbing in Chelmsford last night as a murder investigation and charges are pending against a 24-year-old man.

Sudbury Police say they are treating a fatal stabbing in Chelmsford last night as a murder investigation and charges are pending against a 24-year-old man.

Around 9 p.m. Thursday, police were called to an O'Connor Street residence. Staff Sergent Mike Chapman said a 29-year-old man was stabbed and died of his injuries.

A 24-year-old man was brought into custody. The two were known to one another, Chapman added.
