Sudbury police identify man struck by vehicle

Sudbury police say they've identified the man struck by a vehicle on Big Nickel Mine Road Tuesday morning, but are not releasing his name at this time.

Sudbury police say they've identified the man struck by a vehicle on Big Nickel Mine Road Tuesday morning, but are not releasing his name at this time.  

The man, described as about 18-to-24 years old, remains in hospital in "serious condition." 

Big Nickel Mine Road was closed Tuesday morning as police investigated the accident. It has since been reopened.

There is no word if charges will be laid in this case.
