Sudbury Police say a man is in custody facing several charges following a stabbing Thursday night.

Police were called to a building on Lloyd Street after neighbours reported hearing a scuffle involving three men who had been drinking.

When one of the men stabbed another, the other man tried to intervene, but was stabbed in the face as a result. Both men required medical attention for non-life threatening injuries, police reported.

The accused is facing two charges of assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous and breach of a court order.
