Sudbury physician Alfred Nkut has been found guilty of fraud in relation to charges against him for over billing OHIP by $800,000.
Nkut was accused of using incorrect billing codes to receive bigger payments from the provincial government for his services.
Nkut is currently awaiting sentencing on an unrelated sexual assault conviction that was handed down in August. He currently remains licenced to practice medicine in Ontario.
The College of Physicians and Surgeons had postponed a disciplinary hearing against him a few weeks ago, pending the outcome of his trials.
