Garden Village woman dies in Hwy 17 crash

A 31-year-old woman from Garden Village is dead after a head-on collision on Highway 17 on Thursday.
Christina McNeill was a passenger in an east-bound car when it collided with a west-bound pick-up truck.
She was transported to the North Bay hospital but was pronounced dead by the emergency room physician. The driver of the car was also taken to hospital with critical injuries. The lone occupant of the pick-up truck was treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Highway 17 was re-opened. The investigation by OPP into the cause of the crash continues.
