Stay home if you have the flu, Sudbury Health Unit warns

The first case of the flu has been confirmed in Sudbury.

The Sudbury and District Health Unit says while this is the first case for the city, influenza has been confirmed in several other areas across the province.

So far this flu season, more than 180 cases have been confirmed in Ontario.

Symptoms of the flu include high fever, headache, sore throat, a cough and muscle aches and pains.

The health unit advises those who have the flu to stay home.
